Just checked my Paypal account for the transaction - bought something that came to total of £11.24 that was on my watch list and it's gone through. On Paypal, the entire amount shows on the account overview page, but if you go into "details" it shows that the code/offer has worked/been deducted...Thanks OPs!!

Well I just tried it,at first it took the £5 off then added it back on on the confirmation page.
It said the code had been used the maximum number of times.
Of course I had committed to buy in ebay at that point:mad:
