Tesco Money Off coupons and refunds

I've got one of the £6.00 off a £30.00 spend on clothing coupons which I was going to use.
I never try the stuff on in store, just take it back if it doesn't fit at home.
So, if I spend £30.00 on two items, get £6.00 discount and then take one item back, do I have to pay back the £6.00?

Probably not as the coupon will just show up as 'coupon £6.00' at the bottom of the receipt. It won't specify that it was a clothing voucher. If they ask say it was a clubcard voucher.

No. I bought shoes yesterday that I returned and instead of refunding to me payment card, they gave me a gift card with the value of the refund on as my bill was lower than the refund due to using coupons. They didn't try to make me pay that back.
