Offering settlement whilst claiming for charges

I'm in a position to offer some of my creditors, full and final settlement figures.

Some I'm about to persue for my bank charges, would I be better off holding off on offering !!!!!! to those particular creditors until any charge action is completed or doesn't it really matter?

I don't know if it'll complicate things if say I pay a debt off and then claim my charges back. I'd prefer to offset any money back against the debt and then I won't see the money and aren't tempted to spend it.

Plus, it's always nice to be paying a smaller !!!!!! amount, after any money back was taken off.

If you have got money now and you can pay off debts it is better to do so now. I have claimed back bank charges and it doesn't just turn up in a week or two. It can take months! And your creditors wont know that you are claiming back charges unless you tell them. Be aware though that if you settle with a partial payment as I did it will stay on your credit file as partial settlement not full(but it will say settled). In saying that if your CF is as bad as mine is it wont really matter if it says full or partial :D
