I tried signing up with a different email but same address. It seemed to have gone through fine BUT then it recognised the address about 10 mins after signing up. So it didn't work doing that for me.

Same for me - signed up using hubby's email address and his bank card, so only our house address was the same. tracked quickly on topcashback but had a message earlier saying we've already taken out a trial at this address, so you do need to have a different postal address too...

I've done a Lovefilm trial before and got the cash through TopCashBack. If I sign up for another free trial with a different card and address, will it still go through TCB a 2nd time? Just seeing if anyone has done it twice!

Is the cancellation process easy to or a faff ? I signed up for the Groupon deal last month £9.99 for 6 months and forgot ask this question. I'm using Netflix at the moment and the cancellation process seems painless , 3 clicks and that is it.

I'm in a difficult position, I've signed up for the Lovefilm deal that is being discussed here (instant streaming £4.99), and have paid for the month after the free trial. The £15.15 has tracked and is currently pending (it says the cash is expected to be ready on 13th May 2012).

Now then.. here is my dilemma, on the reviews of this offer on TCB people have said that they have paid for the second month then cancelled and the £15.15 cashback that was pending changed to £0.. I'm just wondering whether you have to hold out for the full second month before cancelling (possibly having to pay for the third). The 13th May when it says my payment is due would be inside of the 3rd month (Trial began 7th March).

    What shall I do?

Sorry for bringing up an old thread btw.

I've been using Lovefilm for years and rarely pay! I use a different email address and different payment card but same address each time and through TCB and all is good. Once in a while lovefilm also send me a three month for the price of one offer in order to entice me back once I have cancelled one of my accounts, which I occasionally take.

Never had a cashback drop to zero once I cancelled. Still waiting for my Next voucher though. They've got five days before their 'delivery within 30 days' so we'll see!
  • I signed up thru TCB too (different address, card and email) and am waiting for my £20 Next voucher which I thought I was entitled to. I've queried it with LOVEFILM and they tell me I'm not entitled to it as I purchased the instant streaming and not DVD's by post. I don't remember this being part of the terms as I remember specifically checking when I signed up to make sure I was eligible for the voucher. Did I miss something or are LF trying to pull a fast one here? I've now upgraded to the cheapest by post package and told them to take my 16p straight away and send my voucher!

    Hi,

I signed up to this offer on March 11th being tempted with such a great deal. After wondering when the Next vouchers would come I checked on this thread this week and people have said that you don't get the Next Voucher if you sign up to the £4.99 Streaming package. I remember that this was clearly included in the deal. I was gutted as I was looking forward to a free item of clothing.

Result today as the £20 Next Voucher arrived! The only thing now is knowing when to cancel Lovefilm so that I still get the £15.15 cashback as it is confirmed but not paid on my Topcashback account. The second payment of £4.99 is due on 9th May. How long can I leave before cancelling before payment is taken and does streaming stop straight away once you cancel your account?
