  • Hi Babbler
you can't get these anymore, which is a shame, but you might be lucky if you have small wrists, one year the guy who attached my bracelet wasn't very careful and I realised i could have sold it to someone for the day I didn't attend, as it was so loose and I could take it off so easily. So if you get in the biggest queue where they're a bit bothered and fed up, you never know...providing you don't want to go on the last day of course...
btw I just bought our tickets, if you go through https://www.virginradio.co.uk/tickets,
    it's £2 cheaper than through lastminute, still a hefty £105 + £9 booking fee + £5.25 for postage.
I couldn't get through to the recommended links on the IW festival official website, ticketzone, and red funnel and wightlink are only doing tickets with camping or transport.
    Hope this helps
    Cheers

Thanks - unfortunately its the Sunday Im interested in! :(

So you get a wriststrap for the weekend which you cant take off all weekend? Thought you might get given one for each day... dang.

Still tempted though as its looking like a good day. Need the transport one really and weightlink only charge £2 for their transport tickets. :)

  • I don't know if it's a consolation, but the line up this year is so good and they haven't announced yet who'll do the evening shift on Sunday, so it might be someone really mega, in which case even one day comes out cheaper than if you had to go to separate gigs, I suppose that's what the promoters would argue, but I still find it expensive... Let's hope the weather will be great, and you'll have a fantastic day!

  • Can't believe they have just sold out! Luckily got my tickets on wednesday! It's more fun doing the whole weekend, bring on Muse! I don't agree with VCE_in_Fornax - I don't think there will be many people willing to leave on a sunday, before the evening. You could always go & look for touts, but tickets will be way more expensive.

I will lose all of this by the end of 2014 & finally gain a life! :j
