refund and retain, if you are overcharged you get your money refunded and also keep the item purchased

Refund & Retain - if they have mispriced an item you have bought they will refund the money and you can keep the item. There is a thread on 'the other side' about it. Best thing to do is go armed with a list of what people have spotted. Look at the shelf edge labels - it's usually because they've forgotten to take a label down after the offer has ended. Eg label saying £6.99, offer ends say 19th Feb and they've forgotten to take label down, you get charged £7.99, take the receipt to customer services & get the money back.

If you have a price scanner in your local store you can check before you pay which saves you buying 6 packets of jaffa cakes only to find they charge you the offer price after all! :D
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

However, I understand from one of the other boards (grabbit?) that they are (and in some stores have) changed their policy coz unscrupulous people (AKA MSEs) where taking advantage <VBG>

Yes, im afraid you have missed out on this, most stores have already changed, but officially from the 26th Feb, they are offering double the difference if there is a misprice!!!
