EDF aren't taking longer (apparently) as they've always taken ages. Their T&C's state that they are allowed up to 90 days from the end of the month that the reading was requested. As they request a reading on the 1st of the month (Dec, Mch, June & Sept), that gives them nearly 4 months to pay.
Was told they take 2.5 months, my Dec claim was paid early Feb, so about 2 months.

Last payment took 75 days, previous to that, 74 days.0 -
British Gas say they pay within 28 days. First reading submitted so I'll report back on the validity or otherwise of that but if it is true then would be worth switching to get the faster payout.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0

Scottish Power have always paid ours by BACS on the third Friday following submitting the TGM reading, so between two & three weeks."We are what we repeatedly do, excellence then is not an act, but a habit. " ...... Aristotle

British Gas sent ours about two weeks after we submitted our reading. Overall I've been very impressed with BG for the FIT.0 -
