it wasnt your money to begin with, they notified you on what they were going to do, you should have budgeted for it..
so i think it was a total cheek you said you could only pay it over 8 months...If i had made an over payment i would have wanted it back in full......
They dont have to accept anything... you got over-paid.... you shouldnt have spent it.. you knew it wasnt yours....Work to live= not live to work0 -

Personally, I think that if you didn't notice you were paid £1120 too much, I don't see how you will notice being paid £2.80 short for 4 months.
As you say, your pay varies massively from month to month. So much in fact, that you didn't notice a £1120 over payment. So I can't see how £280 over 4 months is not acceptable.0 -

He prob thought his work would not notice he had been over-paid, and like some people thought, once it was in his bank account it was his...Work to live= not live to work0
