Electric toaster that toasts even

We have an electric toaster only problem it toasts just in the middle of the bread. We want one that will give the bread an even tan!!!! Must have a large aperture to fit Warburtons bread slice in!!!! It is driving my other half mad and in turn am feeling the pain myself so help me out please!!!!!!!

I can recommend Breville to you. I bought mine (model PT24) from Argos. It has 3cm wide slots which should meet your requirements but I've just checked the catalogue and this model isn't listed now.:rolleyes:

What I suggest is that you go to an Argos store and take a ruler with you. Ask to view some toasters and measure the slots before you buy.;)

tosters are a pain in the !!!, we have had a load of them and they all go wrong, toasting 1 side and not the other.

The biggest problem is that none of them will toast a slice of warbies bread, it is too tall so the top inch never goes brown.

We currently have an all singing and dancing tefal thing, 4 slice 2 seperate lots of controls and it also doesnt toast all of a warlies slice of bread.
