Hi,
We are going to see an independent Financial Adviser next week but been reading the forums and guides and thought I'd post to see what people's thoughts are on our circumstances...
We are both in full time permanent employment with a joint income of about £40,000. We have debts totaling £14,000. We have £10,000 deposit available.
Does anyone have any thoughts on what will be available to us? Or any advice? I know I can just wait until next week but I'm a bit impatient! lol!

What are your mornthly repayments on those debts?
To get a REALLLLLLY rough guide, mutiply the monthly repayments of your debts by 12. then deduct that from your joint annual income.
Then multiply that by 4.
Thats how much you can borrow (but that is a rough estimate).I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
