Lloyds Banking Group have contracted a few agencies within the WY area for employment.
Some of the roles do not require an interview. Only reference/background checks.
Usually if you go into the office of the agency ontime and are a pleasant individual they will take you on with legit experience/CV.

There are some roles you DO need to interview for. Its a mix bag ATM with LBG as theyve moved to new sites and introduced new systems.

Nothing dodgy mate. Its all good.

    1. JSA Evidence
Ring them. Or pop in. You need to request this in writing. They cant give it out over the phone or instore.

    2. Referee
Doctor? Friend? Anyone will do aslong as its not a relation. Know a local shopman? Ask him to be your reference. Aslong as they have a job anything will do. Make sure you know the person and they know you!

    3. Address
    Have you moved around alot?

    4. Uploading Over Net
Yes they will ask for scans. You dont have to. Pop into the Reed branch instead. Your agent there can deal with it. Take legitimate copies of your passport etc.

    5. References
-a) You have to get a reference from your current employer. They need to know. Your new job may rely on this. Talk to your agent contact at Reed.
-b) Have you had alot of work experience? You could get a previous employer to help out instead.
-c) Mention the branch closed down. listen to what they say instead. You should have P45's slips etc anyway.

Im a little surprised they are all of a sudden this thorough. Maybe this thread sparked a quality control within the Dept. Lol.

Are you sure there is nothing quesationable on your CV? Can you account for any gaps in employment?

I phoned up Job Centre Plus and they said they'll verify this info for me if the job agency contacts them. Didn't know it needs to be in writing but I'll wait to see what happens.

I asked my careers advisor to pretend he's known me for the past 5 years lol. He's only known me for 6 months, but he said he'll lie for me.

I moved around a lot. I was told I can just give proof of one address so it's all good. I'll just get my parents to forward me my bank statement and then post it off.

The branch of my previous employer's closed down and I was asked to provide the HQ's phone number so they can verify I've been employed by them during the period I claimed I was. But for my current employer, I'm just taking the agency's word for it that they'll only contact my employer if I'm offered a job on condition of them able to verify this info as I don't want to risk not getting this job and my current employer giving me the GTFO finger because I applied elsewhere.

I don't recall my passport having an address on it. The passport office don't expect you to live in one place for ten years.

Don't know what happens if my employer refuses to confirm I'm their employee lol.

There's no job ad link. I was applying to random jobs and the job agency saw my CV and just contacted me about this admin job. There's no actual job advert for the role.

They can just refuse a reference thats all. That neither denies nor confirms your employment. hence you have payslips/contracts etc.

Could you PM the number for the office/branch

Who's the job with? As far as I know credit checks can be the norm if it's within the financial sector.

And re not having an interview, I presume you had a chat with a recruitment consultant when you registered with the agency? A lot of the time employers will take the agencies word on candidates, especially if it's a short term contract.
