Can anyone help with Roboform?

Im really struggling with roboform, ive been comping for 7 months and ive tried to use it but just cant get the hang of it!

Ive downloaded the free once and have a little green robot icon but have no idea what to do with him to get him to work.

Thanks in advance for your help, its probably me being stupid lol!

Sounds like you have a problem seeing the roboform toolbar?

click the robotman, and click identities,click new, set your details in there and it should be a start, to customize it more http://www.roboform.com/support/manual/roboform#files click here for a guide.

I used to be a massive advocate for roboform ...then I won a macbook and it wasn't compatible so I had to find an alternative. It is then that I discovered LastPass and I can honestly say it is much better than roboform.

http://lastpass.com/ It's free and works on nearly all operating systems and browsers.

To be honest i personally would unisntall it first then just reinstall it, it saves so much hassle and time.

Doing edits etc doesnt work always properly i find, so its just a quick 30 second reinstall.

what are you using fire fox is a fab place to start http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all-older.html then https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/autofill-forms/ after you have installed it it will the take seconds to enter a xomp

I depends which browser you are using. Roboform free version does not work with the latest Firefox or google chrome so if you are using these as your browsers you will not be able to get the free version to work.

Thanks, i'll try this.

Roboform has acted up on my Mac ever since i downloaded it. It randomly shuts down safari on certain sites.

Hopefully i'll have better luck with this.

Lastpass has worked like a dream. Also on the sites where posters warn "watch roboform as it fills out the form wrong" or similar....I rarely have problems with Lastpass.

wow thanks kisto :A I have just lost my Roboform free trial so have just seen this at the right time. I have installed it and so far/so good, thank you for posting as I'd not heard of this before :T :j
