Guarantor??? Getting other finance???

Hi all,
I'm in the process of taking the mortgage in my name but there is a possibility of needing a guarantor.
would this prevent the guarantor from future finance if they are tied into my mortgage if NRam accepted this application?
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
