Coming from someone who has 10k plus posts on here since 2009.
Was a prolific poster on HPC until banned. Posts on creditcrunch. Posts on another forum I can't remember the name of. Posts on news articles.

It's good that we have so many on MSE raking through the various newspapers articles and broadcasts each day and voicing their opinions.
Yes I agree it may be good news for house owners.
Yes I agree it may be bad news for renters.
I could be wrong and may change my mind next week when another news article appears.
I am sad for those who feel trapped in rented accommodation because they can't afford to buy, and for potential FTB who have to live with parents until they can afford a deposit (if they have a job.) But then there are some who are happy to rent and are'nt in the least interested in buying. C'est la vie...0
