Hi guys
Wondering if there are many of you out there who have considered moving to Readers Park in Ballyclare or for that matter have moved. How do you rate the current prices and do you think it's possible to get much of a reduction on the asking price?
Thanks

What style are you looking at? If it helps they have (i can only see this as some sort of marketing ploy) increased the price of some plots recently by between 5 and 15% even though they've been for sale for months at the lower price and didn't sell.
I am baffled as why a developer would do this. Maybe they have been getting offers 15% under so thought they would increase the price in the hope of getting what they are after.
Looks overpriced IMHO.0 -
Yea, was looking at the Reader and I was surprised that the price went up, didn't make much sense to me either when you can buy a 3 bed semi-detached that's been up for a few years for £105-£125kish.0

Doesn't look like many have actually sold. Plenty of "sale agreed" whatever that means.

The reader is coming out at £140 per square foot.
No I don't think so. Someone must have overpaid on the site.0 -
"Delightful two-storey box with no architectural merit whatsoever, with as many as possible crammed onto the site to maximise our profit".0

SouthAntrim there is no hurry to buy. Prices are not going to rocket up. Take your time, enjoy yourself, shop around and you may just fall on something that truly suits you at a good price. Even if you do decide on this development at least you will have covered the options.
If you are posting here you must have your own doubts.[STRIKE]Less is more.[/STRIKE] No less is Less.0 -
