They're atrocious!

They repaired a car from us under an insurance claim and it was a disaster. They fitted the wrong wing mirror and left the bit of plastic that they couldn't get to fit on the passenger seat hoping we wouldn't notice.

I've heard so many stories of cars going in with one problem and coming out with another due to 'reports' of them swapping parts with other cars in for repairs. I've no experience of this so it could just be talk, but who knows.

However, if they were the only car dealer in NI I'd get on the ferry to England!

Charles Hurst are terrible. I bought a second hand car from them only because I new a lot about the car and it was going cheap. I have been back a couple of times for checks because it was part of the deal when buying the car etc. They do a shoddy job. Ridiculous really. Stay away unless you know exactly what you are getting for your money. They are also soulless buffoons.

By the way if you want to go ahead and still get your car there they will take credit card.

They dented my car when it was in for a service. Eventually got them to repair it but they made me feel like a liar!! Also claimed they couldn't fix mt radio and told me I needed a new one for several hundred quid. I asked them for the code to check and once entered it worked fine!!!!!

Of course Hurst's accept Credit cards as does all big retailers

But why pay thru the nose?

There are many small independent garages around, much more efficient and cheaper/ Also you don't have to use Hurst's service as part of a warranty, any VAT registered garage can do it using genuine parts
