I think it is that they give you a refund of double what you were overcharged, so the person who got the tv was very lucky. No more R&R :(

  • I had two given to me last year as they had kids stuff in them, toothbrushes etc and them gave me one per child when I was collecting a perscription.

Will have to ask if they have any now as seems there is lots more stuff in them now.

Received two of these beauties today!

I asked SA if they had any in, she said 'yes we do, how many would you like?'

I said "Oh, two please!!" How lovely! Great contents as well :)

if you have to make a purchase from the pharmacy - ask for a jar of aqueous cream. Its a very general purpose moisturiser (great for kids and dry skin) and a large tub of tescos own costs arounf 85p!

Maybe the staff want to keep them?

Funny you should say this but I have a friend who works at Tesco and I was in her store one day and asked at the pharmacy if they had any goody bags. I got one and was chuffed to bits with it and bumped into my friend. She knew nothing about them so went and asked. The assistant asked her how many she wanted and she said 2 and got them. She then went to the staff room and told her colleagues what she had got and they went and cleared the lot in no time.

Got mine today from Tesco Horwich. Great freebie. Just told them I had an email from Tesco. Staff looked at me as though I was from another planet, then after a meeting, gave me one.

My friend works for Tesco's and she says they've been told to keep them for customers who could benefit from them such as the elderly or people who don't look to well off or parents with children getting prescriptions. They've not to give them out to anyone who just asks for one especially if not buying anything. It's better that way anyway so people who could do with a little extra get one.
