 Hi
would anybody be able to give me a step by step guide to see how and if I can Claim Compo for my endowment having a shortfall.
I purchased a house from an indepentant estate agent who actually owned the house and they arranged the morgtage and endownment policy i was pursuded to take out an endownment policy as i would have some extra after the mortgage was paid back I took out for £28500 over 25 yrs in march 96-a few years ago I recieved a letter from my endownment policy saying it looks like i will have a shortfall so a kept up with the endownment and changed my mortgage to a repayment morgage.
How long have you got to put in a compliant as I was assured that I would have money over at the end of the term. and how would i go about proving this and also how do they calcluate any compo if any is due
