Bank smart - avoid this company!!!

I would like everyone on this website to be made aware NOT to use claims management company called Bank Smart.

I signed up with Bank Smart in November last year; big mistake!!

They gave me a business address in Truro, Cornwall in order to send documentation too.

I sent them 6 years worth of credit card statements, and copies of my credit agreement.

Bank Smart claimed NEVER to have received any such paperwork yet someone at that address signed for it!!

Speaking to the Claims Regulations Department at the Ministry of Justice last week, they confirmed to me that Bank Smart is currently under investigation over a number of matters and they took my complaint!!

They said it was very suspicious for Bank Smart to have claimed not to have received paperwork, yet they confirmed the address was correct!!

I advise anyone not to use this company at all!!

Not so SMART if they signed for it and then said they'd not received it. Hope you didn't send originals?

Nope I sent them copies!! Claims Regulations are investigating them anyway LOL

Its going to be a sad stat that nearly everyone reading this has searched this company after engaging them to recover some fund or another.

I engaged BANK SMART (NOT) to recover bank charges against two current accounts. I had no correspondence for over two years and suddenly received invoice after invoice for an unsuccesfull claim.

I dont beleive these people have actually done anything that they claim. In one statement they say that my case has been taken to court and im to await a response. Im trying to get them to release details of where and when this was. But their 24hr reply to and emails is a non exsistant joke. Apart from their weekly invoices.

I could rant all day about these people.

Simply read the reclaim advice within this website and avoid the charges and scam mechants that proclaim to be wanting to help. They are after your money both in reclaim and charges.

You are right there shafty; I have kept all emails from Bank Smart who claim NOT to receive paperwork from me, and I kept the email saying that I dont owe them money, just in case!!

If they then claim, I shall sue them for the fact that they cancelled my claim without me asking them too, they then denied to receiving my paperwork, and did **** all on the claim anyway!!

They too were hard to respond to emails, and the fact that there is no telephone support I find disgusting!!
