I have an epson photo R200 model printer.....and it does a great job.Up til now I have used orig Epson cartridges, at near £12 each....very expensive. Are they really worth this? Or would compatible cartridges do the same job? I do a lot of photos, so I want quality ink.....Am I paying way over the odds for the "name" or are they really better? If so i will keep using the origs. Or are some compats a lot better than others? Recommendations please. Thanks in advance, Keith.

Hello
We also have epson printer but now use ink masters.com (i thinkthats there name) excellent service order online usually next day delivery, not as good as originals but we were paying near on £20 each, so now it costs us about £7 for both, worth a try, our printer still works0 -
I've used all sorts of inkjet printers, photo printers in our D&T dept.at school. I'd recommend for photos you keep on using the epson ones, for colour work on basic paper from a pc any generic cartridge will do. The epson ones do last longer - however the printers are prone to drying up after six weeks of non use. You may also find in their small print that if you use generic cartridges your guarentee will be invalid.0

I have R300 printer, same cartridges as R200 and buy compatible ink from Printerinks.com, they are as good as the Epson ones and they offer buy 2 get 1 free on compatibles, turns out cheaper with free next day delivery. Try them
