Tenant's Insurance Required

Hi All
I need to arrange tenant's insurance that provides £2,000 of accidental damage cover for the landlord. So far I have an annual quote of £108 to beat. Any recommendations as to who would be cheapest?
Getting a reasonable level of cover for home contents plus good cover for a mountain bike, computer equipment and musical instruments would also be good.
Thanks for any recommendations.

Home insurance is a much more complex product than Motor and a big difference in price can mean a big difference in coverage.
£108 in principle doesn't sound too bad if you are including AD but Personal Possessions (items you own outside the house) is the other big driver.
Make sure the single item limit and the "valuables" limits are both appropriate and remember to itemise any items above the single item limit at todays prices.
The other thing to check is the cashback sites as Home can be fairly well rewarded0 -
Depending on the value of the instruments, consider having a separate policy for them which is far more tailored to their circumstances (and usage).0

I would agree about the separate policy for musical instruments, especially if you take them out of the house.
I'm a music teacher and one of my pupils had her flute covered on her parents home policy, but there were so many restrictions on taking it out of the house! In school it had to be locked in the headmaster's office at all times except during her lesson. Sometimes a problem if the headmaster couldn't be found when it was time for her lesson.
Several companies do specific policies that cover instruments taken out of the house, locked in an unattended car etc.0
