Selling designer dresses

My Mum has given me two designer dresses to try and sell on. Does anyone know the best way to sell them on as looking at completed listings on ebay, neither designer seems to be going for much?

The dresses cost about £300 new each and have only been worn once.

Any responses much appreciated.

Possibly speak to a dress agency who deal in these things all the time.

But remember that 20% of the sale price was VAT so a £300 dress actually was more like £250 + VAT

I'd be amazed if you could get even £100 each for them
  • Thank you - will give that a try.

eBay is usually a good indication of what something is worth. Any third party buying these dresses would know what they fetch and offer less as they need to take their own profit.
