Confused about the rate I am paying

Hello all

I was wondering if someone could offer me some advice as I can't call the bank until tomorrow

Was having a chat with a freind about our mortgages n she daughter she is paying 6hundred and something with Santander - herfixed rate had finished n now she is on SVR

I am also with Santander n on the SVR but i pay over 800

My mortgage is older than hers and I have less outstanding but total amount was 150k and hers is 155k
Should I be paying less per month?

From looking at their website and doing some research it seem that the SVR for Santander is less than 4.99 but that's what I'm on according to my latest statement

    Hi there,

The difference could possibly be down to the term remaining on the mortgage, subject to you both being on a repayment mortgage.

I have only seen Santander mortgages on the SVR of 4.24%, so it may be that changed for a while on their terms. Definitely clarify with them though..

    Good luck

From memory, old A&L customers pay 4.99%.

Old Abbey customers and all new Santander customers have a 4.24% SVR.

Is she interest only and you are on repayment by any chance?
