Weekly Mortgage Payments

Hi every one,

Its my first post on here. I have searched for this topic/question but couldnt find an answer.

I would like to know can you really approach your mortgage lender and request to start paying your monthly repayments on a weekly basis?

My older brother is keen to do this too, he's researched it and believes you can shave a lot of money off, as they lender is receiving youre money quicker and therefore doesnt have the chance to charge much interest.

Is this true? Any pointers much appreciated!

Nothing to stop him doing this.

Though no lender will have a system for processing the request. So it would have to be done totally by your brother in a manual manner.
