Financial advice required - recommendations?

I would normally sought my own finances but after going through a remortgage application since xmas with my bank HSBC and then only to be declined for some reason last week, i just don't have the time to search the market and therefore opting for an advisor to do the work for me.

Am looking for a re-mortage and competitive Life insurance.

Is it best for me to see someone face to face or just as easy talking/emailing a recommended advisor nationwide or even from MSE?

    Ive done business over email/phone before. I personally prefer to do it face to face though - thats from an advisors point of view.

    Its down to the individual i suppose, which do you prefer? There are plenty who will do either so its upto you to decide which then search based on that.
