Silver Rock chardonnay 750ml only £2.24 in Tesco

I love my wine but don't like spending too much on it and the prices do seem to be creeping up lately. Whereas a year or two ago it was easy to find something nice around the £3-£4 mark, the very cheapest seems to be £4.50ish now. So I have been buying this wine for quite a few weeks now as it was only £3.19 and is really nice for the price 
When I went to look for it yesterday I was surprised to see that the SEL was £2.24!! No big reduction signs or anything, just a normal white SEL, so I picked up 6 - after 5% discount for buying a case, I paid the princely sum of £12.77 for the lot! :j :beer:
