Whats an Electron Card?
Comments
-
Visa is a CREDIT card.
Visa Delta and Visa Electron are both Visa DEBIT cards.
Basically Electron is a version of Visa Debit that ALWAYS requires authorisation for any transaction and doesn't have a cheque guarantee facility.0 -
Ah,
Thats okay, i was wondering because I always had an Electron but I lost it and the nice lady at Lloyds said id be much better off with a normal Visa card and sent me out one - have to say it looks better but I couldnt figure out why it was better....?
Thanks for that...
So if Electron and Visa debit are the same in a way (They are both debit cards) then why have the two types. I always thought when you bought something that it authorised it anyway...0 -
from a retailer perspective they are slightly diff, i know that we cannot refund back on to an electron.. dunno why
and in the past less places took electron, tho they are now more popular
also with some airlines its free to book with an electron, but charges you for others0
