Window Blinds for full house - Birmingham

I am looking to buy vertical blinds for my whole house. I have no idea of prices, but am in Birmingham and am hoping to rent the house out, so nothing fancy. Thanks.

Hi - you may find that you can't get all the sizes you need to do the whole house without getting them made to measure - and that's usually pretty expensive! :( Have you tried somewhere like Latifs in Digbeth - they used to sell them a couple of years ago. HTH

Thanks booter for the info. I haven't tried anywhere yet, but will definitely have a look in Latifs. x

I've just seen these...opinions please. I'm not too sure how they are put up but if for example I have a 6 foot window would it be ok to cut an 8 foot piece into a 6 foot and a 2 foot piece IYKWIM. Thanks x

I looked at these but didn't want white or cream as its in the kitchen and I think they'll get marked quickly but the price is good.

They have good reviews and a realistic price, I wouldn't go mad if your renting it, lots of people don't respect your stuff, I've rented my old house before.

I would go with these if you don't mind fitting them yourself but think its easy. Good price and adjustable. :)

But i would just buy a 6ft and a 2ft as not sure you can chop that much off and that's miles cheaper than having them made to measure, I'm looking for one for my kitchen but found a taupe one made to measure on Ebay £47 though for 5 and a bit foot.

Claribel, thanks for your help. I was wondering how easy they are to fit. My bay window has a few turns in it (hope I have explained that properly). It is made of five sections, so would these be ok to use? Thanks.

Ahh i see what you mean. So could you have different sizes in each turn? I know someone who has a bay with verticals and he has 3 lots in one window.

2 smaller ones in the smaller sections and then one long big one, but not all bays are the same, maybe you would have to have them made to measure.

I'm going to get mine from here, its the cheapest made to measure i've found and very helpful, if you contact them maybe they can assist you.

They just fit either to the top of your recess or the front. I've been assured they are easy to fit :D

Thanks so much. I'm going to see what I can find as cheap as possible, as I hope to rent the house out so am trying to minimize my spend. Thanks x
