Yes, I've had a beko fridge freezer for 10 years (not one of the fire ones, I have checked :) )thats going strong and my current washing machine has lasted 7 and is now getting a bit jittery on program selection. So I'm happy with the brand..

Thank you - Not much between them apart from a digital display on the more expnesive one telling you time to finish prog. I may go for the cheaper option in that case, it's 1200 v's 1400 spin but in real terms the difference is marginal.

Will the 1400 spin reduce the drying times?

The freestanding Beko WM6143 washing machine has a 1400rpm variable spin speed, a nine-hour delayed start setting and a childproof lock on its control panel. We put this washing machine through its paces in our labs to find out how well it washes in our rigorous tests.
The Beko WM6143 gets clothes really clean, achieving impressive results on both cottons and synthetics - but levels of rinsing vary widely across different programs.
Might need to use the extra rinse function

Cleaning results are great whichever program you choose, but rinsing varies considerably - it's great for easy care but poor for cottons, so the extra-rinse program might be useful here if you have sensitive skin.
The 40°C cotton program is quick, taking 128 minutes to wash a 6kg load. At 101 minutes, the easy-care option isn't slow either.
    Variable spin speed

The 1400rpm spin works well, and the speed can be reduced, which is useful if you want to prevent delicate items from creasing. It's not too noisy, even at full speed.
You'll keep your water and energy costs to a minimum if you use the 40°C cotton cycle, as this one is very efficient. The easy-care program isn't quite as impressive in this respect, though it's still not bad.
    Basic control panel

The WM6143 is a very basic machine that's operated using a dial and buttons, so you won't find a digital display or time-remaining countdown on the control panel. The status-indicator lights should give you a rough idea of how far your washing has progressed, though.
It has a nine-hour delayed-start setting which allows you to program the machine in advance, and the control panel has a childproof lock.
Pros: Excellent washing, cottons wash has excellent water and energy efficiency
Cons: Poor cotton rinse, no digital display

    Which? score: 67%

There isn't a review for the 61221, but the Beko that scores the highest and is a Best Buy is:

The freestanding Beko WME7247W washing machine offers loads of programs options including handwash, quick wash and woollen settings, a baby and toddler program which claims to clean and rinse clothes more thoroughly, and a darkcare wash. We put this washing machine to the test to see how well it washes.
The WME7247W from Beko is a great all-rounder. This Best Buy cleans and rinses with ease, especially on the 40°C easy-care program. Plus, it's quiet when washing and uses little energy.
Cleaning results are good on the cotton program and outstanding on the easy-care wash.
    Good for sensitive skin

The easy-care rinses brilliantly and the cotton program is also good, so little detergent is left on your clothes. Those with particularly sensitive skin will like the extra-rinse function.
    Program times are about average.
It takes 2 hours and 13 minutes for a full load of cottons and an hour and 32 minutes for the easy-care program. This compares with an average for all the machines we've tested of two hours and seven minutes and one hour and 15 minutes respectively.
    Energy efficient

Energy efficiency is excellent on the cotton program and good on the easy-care wash.
It's not quite as efficient when it comes to water use, particularly on the easy-care wash. It uses 16.9 litres of water per kilo on the easy-care program, a litre more than average for all machines we've tested.
The WME7247 comes with plenty of extra programs and functions.
In addition to the usual handwash, quick wash and woollen programs, there's a baby and toddler program which claims to clean and rinse clothes more thoroughly, plus a darkcare wash which claims to prevent fading by washing laundry more gently.
    Other handy extras

There's an LCD display so you can clearly see how a wash is progressing. Plus there's also an anti-crease function which claims to help prevent creases in delicate items, and a delay timer so you can delay the start of a wash by up to 19 hours.
The writing on the control panel is small and tricky to read, and the buttons are close together making the machine fiddly to program.
The control panel can be child-locked to prevent curious little hands adjusting your wash settings.
When washing it's a quiet machine, but gets louder when spinning. It's also available in silver as the Beko WME7247S.
Pros: Great cleaning and rinsing on main programs, plenty of extra programs and functions
Cons: High water use on the easy-care program, control panel is fiddly to use

We have that Beko washing machine OP, the one with the digital display and it has been fab.

It takes a pounding as our 15 month old likes to stand up at it and press all the buttons at once, but it is still going strong!

I recently purchased a Beko WMB71442 washing machine and it's great. It's easy to use, quick and quiet, variable spin speed is a bonus and the electronic display is very useful as it shows how much time is left until the wash is finished and indicates when the door is unlocked (the bane of my life).
I would fully recommend a Beko to anyone.
