Switch2 Ener-g Query...

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone could help.
I moved into my new flat and just received my Hot Water and Heating Bill (as its a new build the hot and cold water supplier is Switch2 and cant change).
The bill I have received is for the first 2 weeks and is for £50 which seems steep! The hotwater/ heat rate is £0.095 (xvat) per kWh.
D0es anyone else have Switch2. What sort of bill do you have?
Any help or information would be great

With VAT, 10p per kWH is less than the usual rate for standard tariff electricity (around 12.5p per kWh).
Remember that that bill is for the coldest few weeks of the year-once spring comes your heating bill will fall to zero.
Even at that rate throughout the year (which it won't be), you'd only be paying £1,200 a year for all-electric heating, which is not high.
How is the flat actually heated and hot watered? No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Sorry should have been clearer.
Hot water, which also provides heating, is through Switch2. The building has a central boiler and every flat has a hot water meter which is measured in kWh.
Macman, I agree that £1,200 isnt too bad, although I live alone so that why i feel its a bit steep0
