Where can i get cheap alcohol in bulk for a party?

Hi all,

I'm planning a birthday / leaving party and was looking for the cheapest bulk deals for alcohol, i don't have a lot of funds as i am a poor lowly student but i was thinking a quick drive to calais would suffice?

My mum has a Costco card but it doesn't sound very cheap. I'm not bothered about brands

Any help would be much appreciated

Did you see that programme on Tv the other night, trading standards were visiting shops all over the country and confiscating bootleg booze. All sorts of industrial chemicals were in it.
Careful were you go and examine the bottles for off-centre labels and spelling mistakes.

When you can get wine at 3 for a tenner, would it be worth paying the fuel and the ferry to get over to France.

Loads of offers like that at local supermarkets.

Unless you're planning on drinking wine it's a waste of time going abroad for alcoholic drinks.

The cheapest alcohol to buy in the UK is cider. Iceland sell Frosty Jack in 2 litre bottles for £3.50. It's 7.5ABV (alcohol by volume).

If you don't fancy the thought of spending that much brew it yourself.
