My Best 5 wins, might not be my most expensive but meant the most to me

1, Holiday to Australia to watch the last two ashes tests, Chrismas and new Year in Australia, Met loads of players and was at Sydney Harbour Bridge for New Year fireworks (best win Eva, dont think I will win anything again that will come close)
2, My Tissot Watch (love it)
3, £500 Liverpool one vouchers (bought an IPAD)
4, Yearly subsription to Guardian and Observer Newspapers
5, Adida zig zag trainers ( so comfortable and wear them nearly all the time)

so im going to go for:

1. NYE 2011 in barcelona - 5* hotel for 4 nights, free champagne bar during NYE (£2000)

2. 5 days/4 nights in SERBIA at Exit Festival ! (£2000)

3. Aga wood burning stove - (£1000) - 1 in 15,000 chance and i won!

4. 2 x tickets to jamie olvier magazine event - 6 courses in a michelin starred restaurant in central london

5. 2 nights in Isle of Wight 4* hotel - 3 course meal included

those are my favourite five, but the best thing for me about comping, especially living in central london, is the events/parties/things that i get to go to that i would never normally go to - i.e vip to wembley to watch footy, or the nights out at launch events with free drinks!!!

for some reason i have never won money - the big wins always seems to be holidays/weeekend breaks, however saying that comping has totally changed my life!!! ( i totted up last years prizes and it came to just under £10K !!!!)

3 5* Break to Edinburgh including travel, although it was for December 2010 and we couldn't go as we were snowed in and all airports and train stations were shut.

1. £1500 Real people magazine booked a holliday to Egypt with it in 2007
2. £1000 Take a break magazine, last year went to Amsterdam and treated myself to a few bits.
3. Nintendo wii in 2007, no idea where it came from it just arrived gave to my friend who i knew would use it more but a fab surprize.
4. A Hot Air Balloon Ride for 2, Took my best friend it was an amazing experience something i could never afford or possibly ever thought i would actually have the guts to do but we loved it. Took it at 6.30am in the Morning in Nantwich and it was lovely.
5. Cheese plate from Waitross not high value i suppose but my mum loved it.

I've been out of comping for almost 2 years now and I've deceided to come back to it - still see the same names posting the comps so thank you so much for this!

1) Wedding and Honeymoon paid for (£12K back in 1997) - only had to pay for our reception

won lots of little prizes as well - a nd like someone said - these sometimes mean more than the bigger prizes. My favourite was the Nikon Camera .....can you all remember doing the searches for hours on end hopeing to win one? I think I won on the last day and thought "just one more go and that's it" and I won!

1. 5* Luxury Holiday to Las Vegas and Arizona with hot air balloon ride, food and drinks. This was my first EVER win!!!!

2. 5* Holiday to Cape Town (going this November!) excited!

3. 5* Holiday to Venice with the Heart Radio Team - spent 3 days with them, recording for radio - so much fun and came at a time when i really needed a break.

4. 8 course tasting menu with paired wines in the private dining room at Roux, London. With canapes and champagne on the roof terrace overlooking the whole of London. This is my boyfriends favourite prize i have ever won - it was amazing!

5. ipad2 - i love being able to catch up on my girly TV series on my commute!


I've been so lucky, comping for nearly 5 years now and have won some other lovely prizes like a holiday to LA, lovely UK hotel break, 2 xbox packages, £500 H&M voucher, hampers and £750 from real deal (i won the smallest prize they have ever given away that i can find! LOL! never mind - the money was really needed when it came so grateful!)

I love my hobby so much!!
