You know that cheese is basically fat too?
Dentally speaking, it makes a great alternative, but if you want to lose weight, it's not a good option. How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -
Ah - ok :-(
Thansk for that.
I am looking to reduce about 10kgs so want to stay far away from anything which will deter me from getting there.0 -

How about apple slices with thin slices of cheddar. Better than it sounds haha, and you get your cheese fix with some healthy fibre from the apple. Also you could try apple and peanut butter, vegetable sticks and humus, a babybel, frozen grapes, pitta bread cut into strips and dipped in humus, baby carrots or crackers and a low fat cheese spread. This stuff called Low Low has a good strong taste so you don't need to use much and it is low fat.
Also if you go to the free from section in the supermarket you will find these bars by a brand called NAKD. They are made completely of fruit and nuts and the cocoa orange one is really good if you need a bit of a chocolate fix in a healthier way.
At home if you're still craving chocolate try getting options or another low calorie hot chocolate. Much less fatty than eating chocolate and I think options is about 40 calories a mug.
If you find you're missing crisps try eating foods with a bit of a crunch to take your mind off it.0 -
Carrot sticks. Cut up and then kept in a plastic bag to dip into.
Way tastier than it might sound initially! Cut some grapes in half and mix those into the bag too.How to find a dentist.

Edam ready cut cheese slices..........they are around 60-80 calories a slice depending on which supermarket you buy them (as some slices are square and some are bigger rectangles!). I cut one square into strips and eat on Ryvita or with apple slices.
Cheese is also a great source of calcium and protein and a great snack......just incorporate it into your eating plan if you're trying to losse weight.
Alterantively, a small pot of low-fat cottage cheese is nice with chopped apple or pineapple.0 -
Special K snack bars are lush and take the hunger away.0
