Just back from a lovely day out with family, mum & MIL. Got up this morning and DS had kept asking last night what time I was going to bed:cool: Long & short of it was he's on an economy drive as he's soon to become a poor Uni student so had stayed up till 3am after I'd gone to bed to make this:T:TBless him, means more than anything he's ever bought me:) Just off to catch up on the thread now

How lovely , looks like he's got his mothers touch , bet you shed a tear I know I would have .

What would happen should it not scan through with the offer. Would I be able to claim it back do you think
No, you can only claim DTD if you are charged more than what the label says, either on the product or the shelf and your shelf didn't show the bogof offer. If it doesn't go through at bogof, just say that you expected it to be on offer and you don't want them. It's no problem to the SA.
This goes for anything you might not want when you see the price - eg items you hope will make you a dtd but scan cheaply, or 1p items which scan more expensively.
It's only a game

FloFlo - sorry about your mum, I just hope your friend can find it in themselves to say what they need to at this time. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Anyway family fed and watered and just dropped Mum off after a lovely day, we all enjoyed the whoosied beef joint, even if someone didn't!!:rotfl::rotfl:"He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

Thanks RootedNomad had to step away from the computer for a few minutes didn't see your post.
It confused me because I don't know the rules they have to follow. It's probably good coming across things like this.. how else do you learn

Unfortunately there are no cast iron rules with T as they change things with the wind and make up their own rules as they go along. More a question of probabilities. In this case, if it is Lurpak or Utterly Butterly, I am pretty sure it would scan through BOGOF as this is a national offer. What type of store is it? - just that some Express outlets seem to operate as franchises and manager has more discretion over pricing.0 -
Ignore my post I was too slow..I am a plank it's official!
Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be

Thanks I will remember that. Have to try not to feel so embarassed about the whole thing, haven't even worked my way into doing this stuff with an SA so far, been wanting to hide at the SS like I am getting away with something.2013 Wombles onto Giftcard Challenge £0/£1200 -
