Yes you got it in one - he turned the screen brightness down for me, but to be honest it still uses up power over night - i reckon there is a little black economy going on in my phone that i don't know anything about:):)

Do you know if they (apple) would class this as "A" fault or do you reckon they would say nothing wrong with it.

Also i don't know if you have seen this https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3526981?start=0&tstart=0

but my SS said following some of these tips helped his battery life emmensely and he is going to have a play with mine and see if they will help me xxx

I think the battery issue has been about since iOS 5, especially with the iPhone 4S. Apple have released a couple of minor software updates for this which means they are acknowledging it. Whether the issue is still there or not or whether there is a genuine fault in some handsets is a different matter. The only way to find out would be to make an appointment at the Genius Bar in your local apple store. I'm not even going to bother, I find them useless in my store and will deny anything and everything and if the only thing they will do is swap for a reconditioned unit. My phone is less than a month old, why should I swap it for a phone that could be 4 or 5 months old? Every replacement handset I've had from Apple has been a disaster so I'm reluctant to go down that road as my phone is perfect apart from the dismal battery performance.

I've had a read of that and disabled a couple of things I didn't know about so I'll see how that goes. :)

I have an iPhone 4 and it doesn't lose much charge overnight

I think Bestie has put a link to the post on the first post of the thread so we should hopefully be able to find it easily if the same info is always put on a new thread

Link not working for me :(

I think i will do the same as you then, as like yours mine is also less then a month old and i don't want a refurbished one. Think i will see what SS can do for me and just sit tight and see if they come up with anything at apple xx

morning all, and happy mothers day to you all, and hug to those who are missing their mum's for any reason today xx

I have seen my mum. Decided to stop in an express on the way round for some flowers, and the manager was telling people that the Mothers Day flowers are going through at half price, so she got 2 lovely bunches of flowers for £3 and some earrings....obviously she doesnt need to know i got them cheap!
