asked my mum to pick up some cakes and utterly butterly and lurpak
    today she came back with
    10 tubs utterly butterly
    8 packs butter
    18 galaxy/caraamel/jaffa cakes
9 cheap cakes ( mainly choc chip bars )
used 18 vouchers and spent under £15 instead of £61.80:j
Could not tell her i only wanted a couple of each as i already had some as she was so chuffed with herself
i think she did great for her first time on her own but she did ring me several times to check she was doing it right even though i wrote it down with sums :rotfl:

she even picked up another 6 price flop leaflets,,

I think it's great when we can teach our Mums (and other relatives/friends) something new. My Mum is so happy when she gets things cheap or free that she has a wee smile on her face for the rest of the day, it makes me feel like a proud parent who's child has done something for the first time :T

 Ohhh shall I just admit defeat now on catching up??!!:(

Busy busy day for me today but a productive one at that ;):D

Want to say thank you very much to Looby for giving me the confidence and kick up the bum I needed to have another bash at the WHSmith gift cards! Today I made another £55+ which would have been more but some of the cards I bought were £2.49 & £2.99 because I figured I may aswell get birthday cards for friends and family in the next year that I actually really like and will use :p (I will use my others too but I'm a bit picky with cards for close friends/family, I like to get special ones with nice words;)) I got 'trouted' if that's the word in Smiths? in the first store but it was a great experience in the 2nd, they were all laughing at how much money I was making from them!:rotfl:I had to stop because they ran out of giftcards :p

Note: They're promo giftcards now that are only valid until 30th June 2012 NOT normal giftcards as they were previously. I asked if I could have a normal one, she tried it and it wouldn't go through.

Then I popped into Hotel Choc and picked up an Eton Mess egg sandwich for Mum, it looks GORGEOUS and she's just about to get stuck in already! :p

update: I can confirm it's tastes gorgeous! :p:D

Picked up a few nice n easy conditioners in Boots (hadn't got any yet) and for anyone who hasn't tried it before it is lovely, I used to use nice n easy hairdyes and the colour seal gloss is also included in those.

I was home in time to pop to A's for whoopsies and got 4pts of milk for 20p and a blouse for my Mum that she's had her eye on for a while in the sale from £10 to £5 :j

My penultimate Mary Berry has just come out the oven...I split this one into 2 so I can give one to my neighbour and also it reduced the cooking time greatly :)

And lastly thank you to Smart1e the baking bits Iordered from Ebay with my £5 vouchers arrived yesterday :T:T A cupcake stand and 2 edible glitters! :D

Hope everyone's had a nice day :Axxx

CSI NY was on at 9. CSI Miami on now on Sky Living but started at 10.

CSI is one of those programmes that's on every night lol but always worth a watch...like Law & Order SVU with mmmElliotmmm...how sad am I!!!

Watching NCIS LA on Sky+ now , if it's not got a load of initials in the title it's not worth watching!

Apart from Criminal Minds of course with mmmmDerekMorganmmmm:D

    :T

A girl after my own heart. Couldn't believe it when Elliot left :(

And don't forget new CSI Vegas on Tuesday at 9, Ted Danson's in it now but it seems to me they are trying to recreate a new quirky Grissom type character..noooo there's only one Grissom!

Sorry back to Mr T lol sidetracked for a minute!

Still eating my 1p Thorntons they are SO nice..

Grissom can never be replaced. They failed with Morpheus and they'll fail with Sam Malone. I actually had a bit of a crush on Grissom :o:o I also had a crush on Anthony LaPaglia from Without a Trace as well. Must be an older man thing :rotfl:

Now speaking of shows with letter, please tell me I'm not the only person who can't abide CSI: Miami? Yer man is so wooden I can't watch it.

Back to my shopping list for tomorrow if my folks let me escape for a while.
