well he is a doc too so i CAN talk to him but he just doesn't care or want to know or seem to realise whn i am upset, he just sniggers and smirks at me, it's like my sis came round and could see i'd been crying straight away knew something was wrong, but he is in a world of his own. I am doing ALOT of extra hours and i am soooo tired, he doesn't get that i have to cover the debt i'm in and unfortunately for now housework suffering a bit. Unfortunatley i am not his dream stay at home housewife....no dinners on the table and no pretty outfits with false eyelashes and false nails...you get the picture. I am a workaholic and when we don't get on (because he is being lazy and i am working my !!!!! off ) i throw myself into my work even more .....and ignore him even more......and so the cycle goes on.

My sis says i should just jack it all in and sell my debt off and leave work and live life as a lady of leisure off his salary then he might get off HIS butt and do some extra shifts at wkds and evenings at the out of hours

i know only too well exactly how hard doctors can work, and with the extra hour and on call's too, its a wonder that anyone can hold a relationship down sometimes.

Working yourself to the bone to your detriment isnt going to help. If you did what your sister suggests, he would probably still get at you for whatever reason.

Only you know what your happy medium can be. But you need to take some time for yourself and be YOU, not Dr Celebrate all the time. Feel free to PM me if you ever feel like it x

    hi all
had an awful day and finding it hard to hold back the tears

problem at work ongoing, i can't even talk about it, confidentiality and all that, suffice to say i have been sobbing in between patients today:(:(:(:(

still stalemate with the OH , I know it's my fault he doesn't have a clue the problems i have at work and in my life right now, only just got home and had to make dinners for the rest of the week as am away for wkd, work related, just would be nice to have a husband as a companion someone i could share my troubles and just stuff with ?.......no maybe not:(:A

sorry for moaning, you guys have real problems stuff out of your control, i feel responsible for everything i have going on in my life:(

i missed out on the Hot chocolate glitch too, it sounds so pathetic that my internet crashed last night just as you guys posted and i am too stubborn and proud to ask OH to fix my computer, just had to ask "via the kids" and all he bl**dy did was switch the internet on and off the plug and it fixed it:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: i know i'm carp with computers but i could have done that:A:A:A

lovely to see you guys getting your eggs, i don't celebrate easter anyway and having dug out my linen trousers and finding out they are all too small for me:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: I better lay off that chocolate:o:o:o:o:o until the next glitch;)

Big hugs Hun. Do you have a hotel chocolate near you? If you do I might have a spare voucher that is for a box of chocs rather than and Easter egg.

You can't make someone love you. All you can do is
stalk them & hope they panic & give in
