Arghh just had a phone call from the docs it would seem me popping in about my back has triggered a recall for blood tests from 2008 - I feel well in myself apart from my back but I remember them testing me for a few things and had to go back every month for about 5 months for blood tests as I felt better and I never got any results back I thought all was well - so now I am trying not to worry that there is and hope they are just tying up loose ends
Hi Dreamerbea, I wouldn't worry too much about it, it's the end of the performance year in GP Land so they probably are just tying up loose ends. Hope everything comes back ok with the tests :)

For all those that need shelving for their stash!
    B&Q have these

Global 4 Shelf Unit - Black EAN: 7290006563446
    Now £10.00 Was £19.98 Save £9.98

and if you missed the T's Keter shelf deals last week, these are equally good. They are sturdy, hold up to 25kg per shelf, and are ideal for storing all those glitches/freebies from our favourite retailer!!;)
Got 6 now, and have just ordered another 2 as the 1p choccies have spilled out of the wardrobe hidey hole, and need a proper home.
Go to the diy.com website and search using the EAN above, or 'Keter shelving'

I thought that but it was only put out on the shelf last night and they're pretty **** hot in my store lately and the sel says £44.97.
Gonna go back down later and try it as I bought a Barbie set*
yesterday for £8.50 but it doesn't work.

Don't know if this has been mentioned yet - Venus Embrace Ladies Razor £3.75:

    http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=264322422

Coupon for £1 on SSM here:

    http://www.supersavvyme.co.uk/triedandtested/product-venus/venus-embrace.aspx

Plus in the Price Flop magazine it says you get a 5p p/l off fuel when you buy this, which for most people will save at least the £2.75 you end up spending on the product.

    HTH

ETA - the mag says it is £8.99 - and the pic looks a bit different but there is nothing else on the website that looks similar???

It so annoys me when take away places won't serve smaller portions. My son wanted to try a curry from a local chinese so I asked if they could do a half portion size to save me paying full price in case he not like it. They said no, I went to the Indian next door and asked, and they couldn't have been more helpful. Gave me a small container with some in for him to taste there and then free of charge. He liked it so then I bought full portion. Shame not all places can be so helpful.

I went into the chippy one day and asked for £1.20 chips and asked if she would split them into two as me and DH had seperate cars and she said no. When I asked why, she said that she would have to charge me an extra 80p for wrapping them seperately  I said 'You would charge me 80p for a bit of paper?' to which she said yes!!!
A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist

I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!
  • Good afternoon everyone hope every one is well. Well I finally have something to contribute. I was in the cookware department and I remembered someone on this thread saying always look up, so I did and lo and behold there was a 12 piece platinum band dinner set sitting on the top shelf I scanned it and could not believe it was only £2.50 I then rushed to the self scanner to pay and put it in my car bc 7282
I hope I will be able to find more to contribute!
