Hi Freddiesmum, hope things are a bit sunnier for you today. Tweets has written some very wise words from experience and from the heart. I would bookmark this post and when things get low, have another read.

Tweets, you have my admiration for what you have achieved. "well done gal" is spot on.

Thanks they say life begins at 40 it sure did for me. :rotfl:

Thank-you Issyc for mentioning the Lenor 14 wash size :T:T...managed to get some bottles this morning. Just to remind you all in store the 14 wash Lenor is £1 so free with the SSM coupons. :):)

Ta for the reminder, one store I checked this morning had none in stock

Home Bargains also has this Lenor yesterday for £1 so if you are not sure what it looks like, have a look there before you go to tesco

    Aft'noon!

Just a quicky, Kelly's 1 ltr clotted cream ice cream price checks. 3.99 Mr T, 2.00 Mr A. I think someone said there was a price flop for frozen food too, but can't be sure because I haven't got one yet!

Bleddy ansum ice cream too!! :D

    A very good one
    http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/Shopping/FindProducts.aspx?Query=kellys%20ice%20cream

    so 2 x £3.99 = £7.98 minus £1 MOC = £6.98 with a £3.98 JTD.

Unless we can find something for £1 odd so you only need to spend as close to £5 as possible to use the £1 MOC ???

Got some booklets today so now playing around on mysupermarket trying to do small £5 frozen, £4 cheese and £3 yogurt shops :T

    Morning everyone...:)
    Firstly -
    Happy Birthday Snap-Ant :bdaycake:

Hope you have a fantastic day!! _party__party__party_

3dogs- Hugs to you x - also senekot is really good stuff if you're still struggling to 'go' pretty sure you can get it in tescos too. Make sure you take time out for you too to eat properly, and set out a couple of hours a week where you can do something for you.

Thanks for the kinds words Tweets and rootednomad and anyone else that commented last night.

Tweets in response to your comment... Yes you are right hes never going to admit it.. His drinking problem is again mine/ds's/his work/his friends/family fault, because he is over worked, doesnt get any time to relax etc, his life is such a nightmare that drink is his only escape....*rolls eyes* (don't we all feel like this at times?!)
He is about 50/50 when he is sober. If something doesn't go his way or I get something wrong/say the wrong thing then he is a nightmare to live with. So its better to just keep quiet and shut up even if hes doing something I don't like/believe in.
I am glad you managed to move on and found the courage to go alone... :T its so strange isnt it, that I would be so angry if one of my friends was going through what I am and getting treated like this and that he just 'got away' with treating her like carp.. Yet when it is you, it takes so much strength and courage to be able to walk away :(
But well done to you for doing it. :T
Yes I know what you mean about not feeling like you couldnt cope on your own, I often get that sort of feeling, think they try and tread us down until we feel like we can't work/ever look after ourselves without them (but I know in my head I could)
Its interesting that your hubby just left no arguments, I can imagine getting HELL for even suggesting it... I know he would try and get custody of DS (which he shouldnt have, he makes no effort and doesnt have a clue!!!) but he would do it, just to spite me, and has even admitted it :( I know that he would fight to keep our flat too... and to be honest, I don't know where we'd go. We were homeless up until last March and it was so horrible and stressful, never want to put DS through it again its not fair.
    Anyway sorry am wittering now!

You not wittering on it helps. I had no one to talk to and was amazed myself when he just went.

Now i can't stand folks arguing its not worth it. DH must have thought it was peace on earth went HH went.

All he did was raise his voice and if i told him to shut up he went off on one the silly so and so DS me and dog have been called names to this day i dont know what they meant . Could have a good guess :rotfl: :o

First thing you do is go to soliciter first half hour free and citizens advice give you good advice.

I wouldnt want any girl or even guy (i know women can be just as bad ) to stay if they unhappy. You go downhill to the bottom but soon get your head together and raise back up,

Its sounding like an agony page in mag on here now.

Thats what friends are for to help others.

Sainsburys last night had Toffee pot desserts in the freezer dessert section, reduced to 50p for 2.

    http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/Shopping/FindProducts.aspx?Query=toffee%20pot%20desserts

Might be oK for childrens desserts with some banana slices.

They look better on the box than they taste but probally OK for a quick dessert - but there are better ways of spending 50p and 179 calories :D

"Oh no if you get DTD we pay it in cash" she says:mad:

Ah well, I needed some change anyway, just not almost a tenners worth.

I paid by card and got DTD by card!

I thought the batteries in question are BOGOF £4.99? This would mean 4 packs, scanning at full price would be £19.96 and not £31.96.. I'm just wondering where this number comes from :/

I was wondering if OP bought the 8 packs which were also on BOGOF as these were £7.99 each meaning 4 were £31.96......
