I'm from Torquay...family are all still there but I moved about 15 years ago and now live in a village a few miles from there.
Are your inlaws Torquay locals or moved from elsewhere? If they are a Torquay family I might recognise the name!!

Ooh I wonder - you never know it is a small world

Just a quick update on Arnie which is relatively good news so far. He's had an MRI scan this afternoon and there's no sign of a tumour. They could see damage to a couple of nerves so they've done what they call a spinal tap. This involved taking a sample of fluid from his spine and they test it to see if there's an infection that's causing the facial paralysis. We will get the results of the spinal tap tomorrow. If there's no infection present, it could be caused by a trauma or something that can happen to older animals, although I don't class him as old at 8.5 years. He's recovered from the anaesthetic well, although he's quite restless but has eaten.

A big thank you to those who wished him well. He means everything to me and, if someone was to offer me all the money in the world to buy him, I wouldn't even consider it as he's that special.

I'll try and catch up with a few pages after we've had our tea. Everything is running late tonight as DH wasn't back from the animal hospital until after 7pm.

I'm itching to go to Tesco though and pick up some Price Flops, but this will have to wait until tomorrow evening.

Thanks for letting us know over here about the cheese.

Passed Metro on way back from docs and I found some whoopsies!!! Not really, really low priced ones but the best I have seen since I got the turkey crown at Christmas.

Large chicken 9.44 reduced to 2.83
2 pkts of diced turkey 3.50 (each) reduced to 1.05 (each)

    No chocs to be seen.

Also thanks so much freddiesmum09 for the Bodyshop glitch. Text from Boots today to say 5 handcreams and 5 free gifts ready to be picked up. Not sure how I managed that combination????? -anyway 13.00 + 1.95 to collect in store.:j

Just wondering how long people wait before entering their receipt details for jtd.

Put this through seperately for jtd.

    Ariel stain remover and whitener £3 -£1 moc - £1 ssm = £1
    Honey nut shredded wheat £2.29 - 50p moc =£1.79

    Asda prices
    Ariel £2
    Shredded wheat £1

so expecting a jtd voucher for £2.29

so total for ariel and shredded wheat will be 50p :)

Got a load of whoopsied veg too.
    :(

I'm having trouble printing the coupons from the new Price Drop leaflet - I can't work out how to print just page 3 with the coupons . If anyone can advise me how to do it I would really appreciate the help!

When you go to you Print page - on the bottom left hand side it says
    Print Range
    • All
    • Pages
On Pages just type in 3 here
