little question. Has anyone here had to put 2 kids with a 6 year age gap in the same bedroom. Please tell me that it wasn't a disaster.

i av 5yr gap between my boys n they share a room, ds1 is nearly 9 now and ds2 is 4, a couple of years ago the lil one would wake up sooo early disturbing my older son's sleep, i felt very guilty cos he had to go to school in the morning, on a weekend i'd put them both to bed and then sneak ds1 back down again cos the lil one would ask why his older brother wasn't going to bed at the same time as him, now that they're getting older it's getting better, we just had to make it work, it's good for children to share a room imo

hi all, just quick post as currently at work.

For those local to me, i popped into the B3xh1ll store this morning before work and found the boxes of TPO scanning at 1p, also the cheese had SEL of £1 and scanned at that. No price drop leaflets for tomorrow yet though

We got a recon from bissell, the best vacuum cleaner we've ever had. Ours is not on here but they are very good and come with 12 months guarantee

Edit : We've had vax and dyson but the bissell is much better. Hth

OO = sorry to see so many are feeling grotty. Thinking of you all.

Quick q: I was wombling in a far off store last weekend and found a receipt which looks a bit diff to the usual ones I see. After the 'Multibuy savings' at the bottom it has Total to pay, and then a bold section in a box of stars, (tries to recreate it!):

    *************************
    STORE TRANSACTION
    TERMINAL: 0*^
    TRANS-NO *^*^
    AMOUNT £*^*^
    *************************
Then under here there is a large bar code with an 18-digit no underneath it, followed by the usual
    'How did we do?'
    etc
    etc

Is this normal - or is it perhaps a staff discounted receipt? Should I try to get the cc points? Or am I playing with something dodgy? There's no mention of payment method or cc at all. Any ideas?

Could it be a guarantee for something on the receipt like a toaster ? Thats how Tesco give receipts for their own brand electricals. I have a receipt like that with the barcodes for my £1 telescopes
