Try not to worry about worst case scenarios. They usually don't materialise. Hopefully the investigation will lead to successful treatment.:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

I bought a 500gb external HD and have downloaded all mine onto that. I still keep them on the PC though just in case one or the other fails.
Agreed, but it also depends how full the HDD is. Software recovery will recover what it can but I doubt it will reorganise them for you.0 -

Morning and one and all0 -
Hugs to you and your mum
Try not too worry i hope our resident doc will come on and comment
Have you tried calling the docs/hospital and asking why so quick it could just be part of their charter or standard procedure for the first round of tests so they can establish if there is anything nasty or just routine and they can wait?
Hope you understand what I mean

Just read back a few pages and am worried sick now.
My mum has got a pleural effusion and doc is trying to find the cause of it. She has breathlessness and a pain in her side too.
She's had an xray and has got to go back to hospital to have some of the fluid drained and tested and will have a CT scan.
All this will be done within 2 weeks.
She had breast cancer almost 14 years ago. Now we're really worried that it's something serious again - and I'm panicking after reading that if something serious was suspected she would have her hospital appointment within 2 weeks.No. 16 in HCCSC:jFull Time Uni Student & Glitcher :j
