Good morning all - just sat here waiting for scenes of crime to arrive - our garage was broken into last night - hubs mountain bike has gone and all my stock of lenor and bold has gone - looks like they came over the fence from next door and left that way - we both have locked side gates so we think they then lifted hubs bike over the next garden - as there is a bottle of lenor lying in that garden. Arghhhhh

    Oh no.

Dont hold out much chance of getting your washing stuff back, but hopefully the police can recover the bike

Who wants to pinch laundry stuff anyway? Not like you can make loads of money out of it.

*unless you do it the MSE, legit way!

with any luck, they fell off into the path of a lorry or train while riding the bike away

if the drops arent working by now, go back to your gp. You *might* need oral anti b's and different eardrops in tandem

    Morning all

    Re nikkilala post below
I read this as changeover Wednesday aka tesco screw up wednesday is now extended - you know your tesco staff they will still be changing or not changing stUff as they see fit - we are going to have a field day :-)

    Also regarding the rats posts
A friend has always said for each 1 you see there are 10 around you, you can't !!!!!!
My semi retired boss in Oldham has property in union street - tweets, dcon_blue and dizzyditsy will prob know this area - very much a takeaway shopping street
He went upstairs to check on something looked out onto next doors back yard and this words - it looked like something from an indiana jones movie - you couldn't see the floor for rats!!!!!!!!
My boss is not one to exaggerate - maybe not going to order a take out in Oldham anytime soon!

On that post have a great day all xxx

Morning everyone, hope we're all ok and Mr3dogs had a good night. Looby you doughnut taking your car keys away with you for
the weekend:eek::eek::eek::eek: Day off today so a day of housework, but going to do one room at a time then check the thread just in case of a global glitch;)
Meant to say I heard a very interesting conversation yesterday between 2 CS ladies. Along the lines of Team something or other had been sent an email to say that change over days for prices were going to be scattered during the week for different depts, like frozen, chilled ect. This was because T's were having to give too many refunds as when change over day happened on the same day usually Tue/Wed it was too much work and too many mistakes were being made;)

Not a nice start to the week, I can understand the bike but bottles of Lenor aren't the easiest things to carry & run away with

  • Hi Minnie, how did you manage to get the eyeliners for free? i added them to my basket and they are coming up as £9? thanks

There seems to be an offer on that gives you a free black eye pencil if you buy two make up items - I had a lipstick and an eye liner.

Don't add them to the basket yourself - they should just be added automatically.

I kept putting other make up items into my basket and taking them out again and they just kept adding more eye pencils but not taking them away again.

No logic to it really - just luck I guess. According to the offer I should have received one free black eye pencil.

    Good luck :)
