Tesco Price Check email from yesterday just been received. They seem early for a Sunday.

    Dirty barstewards:

FAIRY ALLIN ONE DISHWASH TABS LEMON 38'S £ 10.19 N/A
FAIRY ALLIN ONE DISHWASH TABS ORIGINAL 38'S £ 10.19 N/A

Was looking forward to a nice JTD after an even nicer DTD but alas, they cheat again.

On the plus side, none of the Glade stuff price checks.

    Yay! Vouchers are in!

I finally got last saturday's to arrive (couldn't find it my eye, look, it was there all the time!) after changing time 2x, it was 3rd time lucky.

Going to have to explain I mistyped 7 for an 8, buy hey ho it's nearly £12 worth so I might use it especially at a store I know that almost never asks for the receipt.

Yesterday's came through too, although I see that the Andrex kids wipes are not comparing :(.

    1 x MINI BABYBEL CHEDDAR 120G £ 1.78 £ 1.00
    1 x 7 UP LIGHT LEMON & LIME 2 LTR BTL £ 1.89 £ 1.00
    2 x HAPPY EGG FREE RANGE LARGE BOX OF 6 £ 3.80 £ 2.00
    1 x HERBAL ESSENCES SMOOTH AND SOFT SHAMPOO 400ML £ 3.32 £ 1.50
    1 x HERBAL ESSENCES SMOOTH AND SOFT CONDITIONER400ML £ 3.36 £ 1.50
    1 x L'OREAL DERMO EXAGE PERFECT CLNS WIPES 25 £ 4.70 £ 2.00
    1 x ANDREX WASHLETS KIDS REFILL 42 SHEET £ 1.88 N/A

    It's only a game

    Morning all,

I have so much to catch up on, not sure how will manage it I'm still on thursday evening.

Need to say thanks to clipstripbargains for suggesting Lidl for the beer, I had already got some from there. In the end went for the As offer as was the easiest on limited time. OHs diploma celebration was fantastic and the 1p veg crisps were a hit but not many nuts got eaten!! Made a couple of sausage plaits with whoopsied pastry and RTC frozen sausage meat. ;) Mushroom pate with whoopsied mushrooms and bean pate with those cheap tinned pulses from last year. :T Pasta salad with you guessed it wholewheat pasta. :D Lots more but don't think paid full price for anything except decent liver from the organic butchers to make a homemade pate, but the bacon to go on top was whoopsied. ;)

It's been hard for OH over last few years juggling at first full time work with a totally unrelated diploma but his forced half redundancy last year has given him the chance to finish it with flying colours. :)

Seem to bring home more wine than we took and only 4 beers short of what we took as he got quite a few gifts of beer, his friends know him so well. :D

I hope Fudge2 that your run in with Ts has been sorted, and FloFlo your mum is doing ok. And great to hear Mr 3dogs doing well. :)

I'm not sure if I will catch up completely so sorry if there is anyone I have missed.

I did a "lala" and managed to get some Ecover 31p, was in a different place to where it used to be so any locals PM me and I will tell you where I did leave few bottles. Also managed to do a "fudge" too and get some galaxy promises from a rummage when the night packers were doing their jobs. Not sure if they were going to get to the shelf eventually but they made my basket. Bumped into another MSEer and gave them a few and my neighbour, the thrill of getting them was enough, my waistline can do without. ;)

Have to go and sort out a fly problem now, our building site of a bathroom which has gaps into the loft has unfortunatly been the home of lots last few days. By afternoon we think they have all gone but in the evening loads more reappearing. Just shut the door on the problem with all the food preperations last couple of days so OH is going up into the loft to investigate so I don't think I will be back until tomorrow. :(

Have a restful sunday all. :)

    Apples

If you are doing a Tesco JTD, don't buy the pink lady apples in the same shop as they are £4 in Mr A. I'd previously bought the royal gala apples and they didn't compare during the week. I know they change their mind as to what compares more frequently than the weather.

I've also been buying the 750ml of Lenor Infusions from Mr T using the SSM vouchers - they were 2 for £3 at Mr A (now changed to £1.50 each) and £2.25 each at Mr T and this would give me a small JTD meaning they cost 50p per bottle.

Alright you lot, if you're so clever our onward flight from AMS is too?

Mummy isn't allowed to take part as she knows the answer. If you haven't got the answer correct by the time we land in AMS I'll give you a clue.:)

I didn't even know you were going away :o not been able to keep up lately.
