Back from t's and I do believe I have had my first trouting - I had a £40 shop planned and everything was going well until we got directed further down the line to a till without a queue - I couldn't believe my eyes there next to the conveyor belt was display of batteries with the words printed on it "buy one get one free" - so of course I had to didn't I - I had 4 coupons in my purse so only bought 4. The lad on cs confidently walked off to the battery display so I followed as he walked passed the display at the end of the till I had to call him back and show him the sign - he grunted and said it was an old offer and that shouldn't be there. Now I have never done a dtd but I paid £31.96 and should have only paid £15.98 - how much should I have got refunded? I don't think I got what I should have done but he was having none of it my DD was wanting the ground to open up and swallow her (she is at that age where mum is an embarrassment) so I left it.

Checked out the chicken and none to be had incorrectly priced/labelled - and there were no signs for cheese as 3 for 2 so perhaps that is a regional offer.

If an experienced dtd'er can advise on what I should have got I will call HO and complain if it is wrong.

You should have got £31.96 back resulting in totally free batteries.

I relieved Mr. T of another two packs of AA earlier.:beer:

Just have to tell you I made a blunder today in Ts. I used my ssm vouchers and also bought 2 packs of ham for £3 using a coupon that I downloaded from Ts Price drop thingy. Anyway, just noticed that on the bottom iy says 'online' SA took it and scanned it but as I used my club card I don't know if I'll be contacted for misuse
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Once you get into the game of clip stripping you will be surprised at how strong your neck muscles become, its a skill that develops over the weeks. There are not as many around now but they do pop up every now and again. For example two clip strips of Lucozade shots appeared in my local the other day, hadn't seen them for weeks. There was no price but I took a punt with one and now I pick up 4 every time I go in. I'm sure others can add to the list but this will start you off

    Andex on the go
    Lucozade
    Veg crisps
    Green Tea

oh so it is just guessing then. cool thank you

so is it clip strip things that dont have a price on them?

    tia
You can't make someone love you. All you can do is
stalk them & hope they panic & give in

Hi dreamer, there seems to be some mix up with the price.. You said you paid £15.98 for 4 packs? But they're Bogoff @ £4.99. Can you take a pic of receipt & post?

I think there are two of use talking about batteries Kadison paid £19.96 for 2 packs - I paid £31.96 for 4 packs if the bogof had worked my 4 packs should have cost £15.98 - when I pointed out the overcharge I was given £15.98 so I have ended up paying what I should have done if the offer had kicked in at the till

Some of them do have prices on them, but I've never seen one that has 1p.
Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can :(

Evening all, quickly posting before I go and catch up. Just back from T's and relieved them of these

At 31p a bottle :T:T:T:T:Tno SEl but I usually pay about £1.35 for this and refill my spray bottle with it. It's the all purpose cleaner Ecover Lemon 500ml size B/C004458 and I have a feeling this could be the old style bottle.

I was "had" paid 62p a bottle for that a couple of weeks ago. 2 of my stores moved it to one of their clearance sections, I wonder if they have any left? Thank Nikki will be hunting it out tomorrow during the £1 clothes hunt again. :D
