Evening all. Hope you have all had a great day.

Miss Laid, loving the plans, so wish I had your help planning my wedding. The pictures may have made it into Hello magazine.

Big thanks to OP and all those who posted pictures for the candles. I checked some out today. No major bargains but did manage to 1 AW Touch of Luxury mulled wine & cinnamon apple - 75p. Also got 2 of the AW Ribbons Scent mulled wine & cinnamon apple - £1.50. I found a gingerbread something or other of the AW Ribbons Scent but it scanned at £3?

I think I have spotted some boxes of the mint chocs but will check them out properly tomorrow. Want to wait until the shop is nice and busy so I can blend in a bit. There were lots of bods in suits in my local today so figured it would be best to wait for another day.

I really need a good deal on some wine at the moment, my booze cupboard is bare :-( Mr T please give us another 25% deal.

hello dsg had an awesome day trading :D

if i posted my efforts some muppet(s) would deride me

    how's the shopping ?

tune for those who have had a great day

If anyone found pile cream for 1p, would they admit it?!

Why not, many models claim to use it to reduce bags under their eyes. I would just use it to increase the number of bags in front of my eyes :rotfl:

  • Ok how does this work?
Dettol neutra air is on rollback at Mr A for £1
There is a coupon for £0.50
The cost in Mr T is £1.60
Have never done JTD before. what do i do? Do i have to buy the neutra air with higher priced items?
Is it not worth the hassle and should I be pleased with 50p each?

bcw, maybe Sharon feels a little intimidated by the many pictures of your own finds you've been posting on there.

I think you have a loyal following with regard to the trading. I'm too thick to follow the jargon and know what I'm doing with it all :o

A fairly small shop today, hope to get a jtd and will post details as soon as through. There is a bottle of wine on there which may be of interest to those with conditional spends. It is the La Gioiosa Pinot Grigio t £6.99 / A £4.48. Fingers crossed it compares.

Thanks for the tunes btw :)

You have to buy a number of different items in A, think it is 9?, before you can do a price check there.

See it like this, if you get jtd for the air freshener it will have cost you 50p - 50p taken off the till and 60p given back to you to spend on your next shop.

Jtd is easy to do but does take a little time to work out and a bit of planning. If you have MOCs is really works in your favour as the coupon is not taken into consideration when the price comparison is made.

One point to note, just because an item compares on MySupermarket, it does not mean it will compare on the price comparison. Use MySupermarket to get ideas of things that might compare and then check them on the various supermarket sites.

I split my weekly shop in two, jtd and non jtd, then do two transactions.

Simply enter the details at the bottom of the receipt into the online price comparison: https://www.tescopricecheck.com/PriceCheck/Pages/Default.aspx

    HTH

Just to add, you can price check just one item on the Tesco online price check.
