Morning all
Gorgeous day here in the east. Perfect for wombling  I got my daughter to help out in the "family business" yesterday. She found a £6 off a £40 shop at T's in the Asda car park. Talk about beginners luck.

Thought there may be a £5 moc in one of the newspapers today but none
Oh well should be one before the knife offer runs out.
How come people seem to get them with their till spit ? I've only had the money off norton and why anyone would want that is anyones guess.
Do you get them if you don't shop often or if you shop alot ?0 -
well I am awake now and have set the tone for my day I hope.....
car insurance due today, of course I use MSE tactics, but still usually pay £330 then get £70-80 cash back every year.
Decided as funds are even more limited this year to change to third party fire theft.......obviously a bit wary of changing from fully comp after 20 odd years but needs must and result is this years insurance will cost me £89. Policy was through aviva who i have been with for a few years but I have no loyalty to any insurer! £169 then £80 cash back through quidco!
Watch out T's here i come!
sorry that was OT!YNWA JFT96 :A0 -

I've had a £6 off £40 spit with each of my last 2 shops, and I have seriously cut down how much I spend in T's and how often I go. Not complaining - also had the mailer with the first one being £6 off £40 (making it £46 of shopping for £34, even less with other vouchers). I will struggle to use the next one though as it is to spend before 18th March, might have to top up with clothes to take back as I have a combination making it £10 off £44 and will have some more SSM vouchers! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
morning all, not much planned for today was supposed to be taking friends wife down to see him where he's dog sitting but DS has just thrown a hissy fit because he doesn't want to sit in the back with the dogs as ours was sick over him last time (she doesn't travel well if she's eaten and she stole food before we went) not that I'd want to either!
Trying to get him to realise that I'll have no choice but to take him with usSPC #329 £471/£500 banked
SPC 2014 £1100:D

awww it's so hard when you have no choice and life's so hard at DS ageBless I hope it goes OK and that it's uneventful x
edit: OMG how condescending did I sound??? I only meant that I feel for you- been there, done that - without the dog sick though! hugsYNWA JFT96 :A0 -
Can't help but smile- Did my carefully planned shop (which wasn't that good by most of your standards!)- apples, cheese (bogof + value Mozzarella for double coupons), and yogurt + normal things...

WAIT! NOOOO! We don't take those.... (me, fight urge to roll eyes)
I said, yes you do, and last time I called CS and have a letter (+ money card) at home that says you do.
NOPE.
me- OK, I am happy to call them again and get another letter and money card.
(no comment) SA actively presses Coupon Not Accepted
...One phone call later money card is on the way! -and I was offered a personal phone call from the manager of the store to apologise and reassure me that I would have no problems in the future.:eek:(I didn't tell her it was only a 39p voucher!) She said they would inform the store manager and the area head.... we'll see! I am happy to call again!
I declined the kind offer but asked for another letter... didn't want them to notice me any more than they do! :A
...still hoping for a 1p find in the big store I drive by later...:)0
