Morning all. I dont know, how u working people, can keep up with this thread. I have just started work and found myself skipping pages and missing out.
Just a suggestion,i wonder what u lot think. How about,on a first page,we reserve few post and have a list, well few lists, about what is going on atm. Lets say, second post would be 1p items list, next one dtd, next one jtd, another one really cheap, just like we had a spreadsheet back in march?
I know it will make it easier for lurkers but easier for us as well. Mine is the very second post on a first page,i can edit it as change it into ,lets say 1p list,i am inclined to 1 p items,so i can be managing it. Or maybe for a person who starts a new thread, she or he can reserve few first posts for this lists.
What do you think?i know we have special thread for all this stuff but we never go there,do we?
Sorry but i dont agree with your idea. The very nature of this thread is that it is different from the others. If you want to just know about tesco prices etc there are plenty of other threads to read.0 -

(and very inconvenient as I'm going to have to go and deliver it! About 15 miles each way but atleast I can have a gander in a couple of T's
) What's wrong with good old email?!
I think it is so they can see that you know the formalities of letter writing which a lot of youngsters do not know. It has become a very abbreviated society with finger mileage reducing all the time (IYKWIM - for example). Don't forget you can stick it in an envelope and post it.I miss too many pages due to work so if you need an answer from me, please send me a PM.

Just been to Tesco Extra.
4 pack Muller vitality probiotic yogurt SEL £1 scanning at 25p.
Unfortunately, eagle-eyed trout called customer services and they cleared shelves of them at K!n95teignton.
Worked on both Strawberry and Peach & Passionfruit
I bet it was the same old trout that served me yesterday and wouldn't let me use the rustlers coupons.
I think that store must be the Trout Training Camp for the whole of T's....Similar to the Hitler Youth movement...just older recruits
Have you ever had to deal with the one upstairs on the Tesco Direct Counter???.....she is unbelievable. I've got two duvets to collect on Sunday and she'll be there, huffing and tutting because she has to fetch them from out the back!
My OH once said he'd have a word with the manager for her if she liked and ask for her to be put on light duties....as it was all obviously too much. You should have seen her face :rotfl:
Edit....Larry, that T's is a Superstore. My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
Hey guys, I really need some advice!! I have just returned from shopping at Mr T's C@rm@rth3n. While I was there, I picked up three fresh chickens that were on a shelf marked Tesco large chicken half price - £4 per kg down to £2 per kg. When i paid I noticed my bill was much larger than I expected. I checked my receipt and the large chickens I had picked up were still labelled £4 per kilo. I went to CS and she went to check. CS came back and said the ones I had picked up were from the West Country and were not included. I said to her they were placed on a shelf labelled half price and how was I supposed to know that the ones from the West Country weren't included. All the ones that are half price are labelled exactly the same as the ones I picked up!!
She said, no it was my fault. I asked for Head offices number so she gave that to me and said I could speak to a manager if I wanted. When the manager arrived she expained that the chickens were in the wrong place and she'd got someone in that section to change it round so the manager said to give them to me half price.
She did this, and as she was doing them, I asked about DTD. She said in her arsey way that it was a goodwill gesture only, I still wasnt right and therefore I was not entitled to DTD.
Do I leave it go or do I email head office?
Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions0
