Thanks motherbear. I am often in 4ld3rsh0t or B0rd**, that sort of area. They both appear on the list. Not sure there is one there any longer in first location but will check later. Maybe I'll just find something regular and ask a SA price and bring it into convo! (Honestly - the plans we make...:)

I've just spent the last 10 minutes trying to find a pic of a price check scanner on Google but found nothing. I know someone has posted a pic of one before but I can't for the life of me remember who it was.

Morning all, new deal for you all, not T's but if you take any pair of old shoes into Brantano in ANY condition, they will give you £10 off a £40 transaction.

I've just been in and had two pairs of trainers put aside totalling £44 and have popped home to find an old pair of pumps or something to get my £10 off.

I think it's a great deal, I think also you can do this more than once but you can only use one £10 coupon per transaction so if you have lots of kids to kit out or something, you need to make sure to split the transactions, I don't think that'll be a problem for you lot though :rotfl:

    I'll need to remember that!:beer::beer:

Oh and no-one knock me off the top please!

    :D Thank You
Just a suggestion,i wonder what u lot think. How about,on a first page,we reserve few post and have a list, well few lists, about what is going on atm. Lets say, second post would be 1p items list, next one dtd, next one jtd, another one really cheap, just like we had a spreadsheet back in march?
I know it will make it easier for lurkers but easier for us as well. Mine is the very second post on a first page,i can edit it as change it into ,lets say 1p list,i am inclined to 1 p items,so i can be managing it. Or maybe for a person who starts a new thread, she or he can reserve few first posts for this lists.
What do you think?i know we have special thread for all this stuff but we never go there,do we?

 Sorry but NO! Agree with HC & Nikki (and anyone who has replied but I haven't caught up yet :o)
You are looking for the ones with BC ending 5092 - they are the Tesco value range. i got one in the sale on Saturday. The cut is all wrong - sleeves way too long for DH (or maybe DH have shorter than average arms??:rotfl::rotfl:)

i've cut mine up and made a printer cover, draught snake and tea cosy with it.

    Morning all,

Can I ask a Question for all you ssm'ers?
How are you getting to print off multiple coupons? I logged in to mum's FB to get her started, got stuck on 31 stickers, had post removed for "spam" Anyhow printed what I did have for her.
Then thought I would do the same for me with my FB, tried to print and it is saying "print limit reached":(. Tried changing IP address, not sure if that worked:o, but still saying the same, also using different lappy;)
Is there anything I can do, besides hi-jacking my sister's printer? or have I given mum all my coupons:eek::eek::eek:
    Thank you sooo much x

I've tried everything to print off coupons from my wifes ;) account but nothing worked, taking my printer to my nephews house later to try
    :(

This is an instore price check machine. It is usually mounted on a blue board saying Check Prices here or similar:
