Can i use flora buttery instead of butter for my cheesecake base ?

Edit: and can i use whipping cream and evaporated milk for the filling ?

Only got these and don't want to have to pop out

    Lol cookery tips Monday!!

You can use it but my rule of thumb is that if the spread is one of those soft/spreadable from the fridge then it won't set hard enough for the base and will go soggy:( you do need something that is hard in the fridge IYSWIM.
Unless - you plan to eat it all that day then it will be fine!

I've never tried with whipping cream...you will have to try and let us know! It works with double cream because something in the lemon thickens it up, maybe if you put a bit of lemon with it first to see!

I do think Jumblejack is much better qualified to advise on cookery questions though...:D I tend to stick to the same recipe as I have no imagination!!

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

And Tweets - my questions were incredibly difficult I'll have you know...:D:D:D lol!! Not really I was just lucky!!!;)

I had a very unhappy member of staff at T's the other day. When trying to use my JTD, she scrutinised the receipt with it and then commented on how they don't take into account that you got the stuff for free in the first place. Lots of coupons used. I replied..well I could have shopped at ASDA with these coupons and got the stuff for free, but instead I shop here and get the difference back...not sure she understood the idea of JTD.
Of course I couldn't have done that as they were ssm vouchers, but she weren't to know that.
So I then added that I would also be getting a new JTD voucher for the things I have just bought..with coupons and JTD voucher. Thought it would make her day to know that some customers are getting a bargain :D
Was most gutted to, as found the aloe vera dettol in this store, but they would not take both coupons for 1, oh well..can't win them all. My actual shop totals for the weekend was £201.37
Cash paid after JTD vouchers, newspaper coupons and other coupons £56.16
    JTD vouchers back x 4 = £45.04
And I got a couple of £1 items, plus school shoes for DD. :j
Was a good shop this week, wish I had a bigger fridge/freezer.

These last couple of weeks have been great for bargains, thanks everyone!!!

Can you increase or decrease the size? At the bottom of your computer it should say the percentage size that you are using on your computer e.g. 100%, 75% etc. Try adjusting that.

I'm totally rubbish on computers I only know how to play on mse:oCan't find a size bit:o
Strange, either the site is playing up or you need to restart your laptop.
It's being doing it for a while even when I restart it:(

:) Amazing coincidence as when I was in your T's that one day a 20p fell out the change slot on the SS till (& I gave it to the Trout as she was helpful with turning a blinded eye to the 1p Lucozades :) )

    Glad someone else got it:T

    Afternoon all

Haven't posted for ages, it's been a job to keep up and I missed a huge chunk off the end of the last thread. Hoping I will fare better with this one!

MTM - did you try using the price flop coupon on the eggs? I know they are not the right ones but just wondered! Not that i would buy them but I can't find any caged eggs on t.com or msm.co.uk?

I tried the happy eggs last week and they wouldnt scan
    Hi

There is a profit to be made on Rustlers at Sainsbury at the moment - wish I had spotted this last week when the subs were reduced at T.

There is a bogof voucher on the coupon thread and it is a pdf so you can print it as many times as you like.

The hot wraps are currently on offer in T for £1, but £2.29 in Sainsbury. For every two you buy, you pay £2.29 using the voucher but get £2.58 back as BM voucher. You need to spend £20 for Brandmatch to kick in, but this can include S own brand goods that are not compared. Eg if you bought 10 x wraps and nothing else, it would cost £11.45 but you would get £12.90 off your next shop. Free food.

Kids verdict is that the wraps aren't as nice as the subs (the burgers were not popular), but they are free.

can you point me in the right direction for the rustlers coupon?? Ive searched the coupon thread but I cant find it... xx

These would probably freeze well? If they do brand match, it'd be a great way to bump up a voucher spend in S's. Btw, is there a cap on their brand match like T's price check has?

Loved that series, the strains of "Chi Mai" and him walking by the river are indelibly etched. The BBC have never released that series on video or dvd for some reason. Love the museum to Lloyd George at Llanystumdwy as well. We have had some terrific holidays with the family and the dogs in that part of Wales.
Lloyd George is one of the former owners of my house down here in Kent!

    Catchy name! :rotfl:
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".
